St. Joseph’s Women’s Reflection and Prayer group (WRAP) is pleased to offer a new study from Ave Maria Press this Advent. 


Way of the Star


Way of the Star: A Guided Advent Journal for Prayer and Meditation is an immersive Catholic Advent devotional that teaches you how to pray with scripture, music, art, and imagination. Rooted in
musica divina—prayer through sacred music—this one-of-a-kind Advent experience invites you into a richer, ever-deepening encounter with Christ from the first week of Advent through the octave of Christmas.  Way of the Star is more than a prayer journal. It is a scripture study, imaginative prayer guide, music album, and art experience woven into one cohesive Advent journey.


You will need the journal, discussion guide and a Catholic Bible to participate in this study.  You will journal daily, following the meditations and prompts provided, including a weekly video, and we will meet weekly for discussion and fellowship.


When we start:


Advent begins this year on November 29th, but we will begin the study on November 17th and you will begin journaling on November 8th.

We will send welcome emails on October 27th to confirm your registration. Please let us know by the 28th if you have not received your confirmation email (check your "Spam' or "Junk" folder first).
