In November of each year just prior to Thanksgiving, Operation Turkey Drop collects turkeys and non-perishable foods in support of the annual Thanksgiving Food Outreach run by Blessed Sacrament Parish in inner-city Bridgeport. Hundreds of local east end Bridgeport residents receive a turkey and all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
